Special event for Vietnam veterans A Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans event will be held March 29 from 8-9 a.m. at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home & Cemetery, 1010 Pandora St. in Lafayette.   The ceremony to properly thank our Vietnam veterans and to welcome them home. The event will feature veteran honor guards, speakers and patriotic musical selections. Each year across the nation, groups get together to show appreciation and to honor our veterans who served in the United States military during the Vietnam War.
